Oakwood takes great pride in providing transportation services of the highest calibre. In fact, in our lobby we display many supplier awards received from our customers. For these and all of our other customers, we operate trucks but we provide quality service day in and day out.

Oakwood operates 48 and 53 foot trailers, vans, air ride reefers and flat beds, with more than 50 late model tractors.

We haul many different types of general freight ranging from steel coils, nuts and bolts, carpet and perishables such as produce, meat, seafood and flowers excepting Hazardous materials. If it will fit in the reefer or dry van, we have most likely hauled it. Our experience in transporting vehicles and other products to and from the US including meat, vegetables and other perishables, indicates the expertise we have in cross-border shipments.

Oakwood Transport is both a Canada and US Customs bonded carrier. Oakwood works with its customers to expedite international shipments and is currently able to expedite shipments using PARS and ACE systems. The company is FAST certified and is a C-TPAT certified partner as well as a member of Partners in Protection. As a service oriented company, Oakwood also offers trailer pooling and LTL shipments.

Every Oakwood truck is equipped with a Mobile Wireless and Email Solution (PDA) to provide constant two-way communication capabilities between dispatch and driver. Once again, service is our product.
